하느님의 뜻과 인간의 뜻이 하나인 ‘피앗의 나라’
이 나라를 주시려고 영혼을 준비시켜 오신 하느님.
1. ‘거룩하신 하느님의 뜻 안에는 얼마나 큰 능력이, 얼마나 많은 선이 포함되어 있으랴!’ 하는 생각이 들었다. ‘여기서는 모든 것이 얼마나 큰 평화이며 행복이랴! 일을 하기 위해 명령을 받을 필요가 없고, 인간의 본성 자체가 선의 힘을 강하게 느끼기에 선을 행하지 않을 수 없으리라.
2. 자신의 본성이 선으로, 성덕으로, 힘으로 변화되어 있음을 느낄 터이니 얼마나 행복하랴! 지고하신 뜻의 나라에는 법이 없고 모든 것이 사랑이리라. 인간 본성이 하느님의 법으로 바뀌리니, 스스로 하고 싶어 하는 것이 곧 지고하신 ‘피앗’ 이 원하시는 것이 되리라.’
3. 내가 이런 생각을 하고 있었을 때, 언제나 사랑하올 예수님께서 평소처럼 당신 지성에서 나오는 빛을 비추어 주시며 이렇게 말씀하셨다.
4. “딸아, 내가 내 뜻에 관해 지금껏 말해 온 모든 것은 너에게 준 선물이다. 사람은 지식을 가지는 것만으로는 충분하지 않고, 바로 그 지식에 포함된 선을 소유해야 하기 때문이다. 그렇게 하지 않으면 지식이 너를 불행하게 할 것이다. 그 선을 알면서도 소유하지 못하는 것이 언제나 마음에 걸릴 테니 말이다.
5. 게다가 나는 일을 어중간하게 할 줄 모른다. 철두철미 완벽하게 할 따름이다. 그러므로 먼저 영혼을 준비시키고 그 능력을 키운 다음, 지식과 지식에 포함된 선을 함께 준다.
6. 내 뜻에 관한 지식은 신적인 것이기에 영혼의 본성에 하느님의 신성과 비슷한 성격이 부여된다. 그러니 영혼은 명령을 기다리지 않는다. 딸 이상으로, 아버지의 지시가 떨어지기도 전에 원하시는 바를 행하는 것을 영예로 여기는 것이다.
7. 법이니 명령이니 하는 것은 종과 노예와 반역자를 위한 것이다.
‘지고한 피앗의 나라’ 에는 종도 노예도 반역자도 없다.
하느님의 뜻과 피조물의 뜻이 하나이고, 따라서 하나인 생명이 있을 뿐이다.
8. 이것이 내가 너에게 내 뜻에 관해 이리도 많은 말을 하는 까닭이기도 한데, 너뿐만 아니라 내 나라에 와서 살고자 하는 모든 영혼에게 선물을 풍성하게 주어, 모자라거나 아쉬운 것 없이 모든 선의 원천을 자기 안에 소유하게 하려는 것이다.
9. 내가 내 뜻의 나라를 세워야 할 때 이 안에서 살 사람에게 내 뜻이 지닌 특권과 특성을 주지 않는다면, 사실 그대로 크고 능하며 부요하고 관대한 나, 곧 하느님인 나로서 행동하는 것이 아니겠기 때문이다.
10. 더구나 네가 알 필요가 있는 것은, 만물이 하느님의 단일한 행위에서 생겨난 것과 같이 마땅히 이 단일 행위로 돌아와야 한다는 점이다. 단일 행위라고 하는 것은 연속적인 행위들이 없는 까닭이다.
11. 하지만 오직 내 뜻으로 살기 위해 모든 것을 버리고 떠난 사람만이 이 단일 행위로 돌아올 수 있다.
왜냐하면 영혼이 내 나라 안에서 살면 그가 행하는 모든 것이 빛으로 변화되고, 그의 행위들이 자연히 나의 뜻이라는 태양의 영원한 빛과 합체되고 동화되어 내 뜻의 단일 행위와 하나가 되기 때문이다.
12. 반면에 내 뜻 밖에서 움직이는 사람에게서는 빛을 볼 수 없다. 그의 행위에 내포된 물적인 것들이 낱낱이 보이는데, 이는 하느님의 단일 행위의 빛과 합체될 수 없는 요소이다. 그러므로 우리 (성삼위)에게 속한 것이 아님이 단박 드러난다. 무엇이든지 하느님의 ‘피앗’에 의해 행해지지 않은 것은 하느님의 인정을 받을 수 없는 것이다.
13. 네가 빛과 어둠을, 구리와 금을, 자갈과 흙을 혼합하려고 했다고 가정해 보아라. 그렇게 섞어 놓아도 빛과 어둠, 구리와 금, 자갈과 흙을 분명히 분간하지 않겠느냐? 그것은 서로 다른 두 가지를 한데 섞었기 때문이다.
14. 그러나 빛과 빛을, 어둠과 어둠을, 금과 금을 섞어 합친다면, 처음 빛과 나중 빛, 처음 어둠과 나중 어둠, 처음 금괴와 나중 금괴를 분간할 수도 없을 것이다. 내 뜻도 그렇다. 내 뜻이 사람 안에서 행하는 것은 빛이기에, 이 빛은 당연히 내 뜻의 영원한 빛의 단일 행위 안에 합체되는 것이다.
15. 너무도 소란스러운 시대 ― 악을 향해 어지럽도록 치닫고 있는 이 시대에, 내가 ‘지고한 피앗의 나라’ 를 큰 선물로 주고자 한다는 것을 알리는 것보다 더한 은총은 없을 것이다.
16. 이를 확실히 하기 위해서 네게 많은 지식과 선물들을 주었으니, 나의 뜻이 승리를 거두는 데에 부족한 것이 없도록 하면서 네 안에 이 나라를 준비해 온 것이다. 그러니 너는 내가 네 안에 세우고 있는 이 나라를 맡기고 있다는 사실에 주의를 기울여야 한다.”
17. 그 뒤 나는 근심에 싸여 있었다. 왜냐하면 다정하신 예수님께서 말씀하시는 것은 낱말 하나도 빼먹지 말라는 사제의 명령이 있은 터이라 이를 행하도록 ‘거룩한 순명’ 이 내게 압력을 가하고 있었지만, 예수님께서 내 하찮은 영혼에 쏟아 부으시는 어떤 내밀한 말씀이나 심경 토로는 글로 쓰기보다 내 마음속에 간직해야 할 것이라는 확신이 있어서 곧잘 빼먹게 되었기 때문이다.
18. 그러므로 예수님께서 순명에 어긋나지 않을 은총을 주시기를 청하였다. 그러자 그분은 나의 내면에서 이동하시며 이렇게 말씀하셨다.
“딸아, 너를 이끌고 지도하는 사람이 이 명령을 준 것은, 너에게 말하는 이가 바로 나라는 것과 내 말은 단 하나의 낱말에도 큰 가치가 있다는 것을 잘 알고 있음을 뜻한다.
19. 과연 내 말은 빛이고, 생명이 충만하다. 생명을 소유한 자는 그것을 내어 줄 수 있다. 하물며 내 말에는 창조력이 있기에 단 하나의 낱말도 영혼들 안에서 은총의 생명과 사랑의 생명, 빛의 생명과 내 뜻의 생명을 수없이 지어낼 수 있다.
20. 이 단 하나의 낱말이 얼마나 멀리까지 주파할 수 있는지 너로서는 알지 못한다. 들을 귀가 있는 사람을 들을 것이고, 느낄 마음이 있는 사람은 찔림을 느낄 것이다.
21. 너의 지도자가 너에게 이 명령을 내린 것은 올바른 일이다. 아, 정말이지 너는 모른다! 그가 내 뜻에 관한 나의 글을, 또한 너의 것이기도 한 글을 읽을 때, 내가 얼마나 그를 도와주며 그 옆에 있는지를! 이는 그로 하여금 이 진리와 여기에 내포된 큰 선을 전부 이해하게 하기 위함이다.
22. 그런 그가 내 뜻 주위를 맴돌며 빛을 실감하고, 이 빛에 의해 너에게 명령을 보내는 것이다. 그러니 너는 유의하여라. 내가 너를 도와 어렵게 보이는 일을 수월히 하게 해 주겠다.
23. 너는 내 성심이 지고한 뜻의 나라와 그 안에 있는 선, 이 나라를 소유할 사람이 받게 될 큰 선익에 대해 알리고 싶어서 팽팽히 부어오른 채 극도로 괴로워하며 단식하고 있다는 것을 알아야 한다. 바로 내 성심 안에 이 나라를 간직하고 있기에 폭발 직전에 있는 것이다.
24. 내가 이를 내보내려 하는 것은 그 때문이다. 네가 그렇게 함으로써 이 고통을 덜어주지 않겠느냐? 그러면 부어오른 데가 가라앉아 내가 더는 괴로워하며 탄식하지 않아도 될 것이다.
25. 이를 행하려면 내 뜻에 관해 내가 분명하게 드러내 준 것을 네가 알리면 된다. 그리하면 네가 나에게 땅을 주는 셈이니, 내가 이 땅에 길을 트고 내 뜻의 나라를 세울 터전을 마련할 것이다.
26. 네가 그렇게 하지 않으면 길을 차단하는 것이기에 내 성심이 한층 더 팽팽히 부어오를 것이다. 그런즉 너는 내가 하는 대로 맡기고, 나를 따르며 근심하지 말 일이다.”

When Jesus speaks, He gives the good which His word encloses. In the Divine Will there will be neither slaves, nor rebels, nor laws, nor commands.
I was thinking: ‘How much power, how many goods are enclosed in the Holy Divine Will. How everything is peace in It, everything is happiness, nor does one need commands in order to operate, but one’s own nature feels so much strength of good within itself that it cannot help doing it. What happiness, to feel one’s own nature converted into good, into sanctity, into strength. So, in the Kingdom of the Supreme Will there will be no laws, but everything will be love, and one’s nature will be converted into divine law, in such a way that, of its own, it will want to do what the Supreme Fiat wants it to do.’
Now, while I was thinking of this, my always lovable Jesus, with His usual light which He sent forth from His intelligence, told me: “My daughter, everything I have told you about my Will has been gifts that I have given you. Knowledge is not enough if one does not possess the good which that very knowledge contains. If it were not so, the knowledge would render you unhappy, because knowing a good and not possessing it is always a sorrow. More so, since I do not know how to leave things half-done, but only fully complete; therefore, first I dispose the soul, I expand her capacity, and then I give the knowledge together with the good it contains. And since the knowledges about my Will are divine, this is why her nature remains endowed with the likeness of the Divine Nature and, more than a daughter, she does not wait for a command but, without being told, feels honored to do what her father wants.
Laws and commands are for servants, for slaves, for rebels. In the Kingdom of the Supreme Fiat there will be no servants, no slaves, no rebels, but one will be the Will – that of God and that of the creature – and therefore one will be the life. This is also the reason why I am saying so much and so many things about my Will - to abound in gifts, not only for you, but for any soul who wants to come to live in my Kingdom, so that she may lack nothing, need nothing, but possess the source of goods within herself. I would not act as the God that I am - great, powerful, rich, magnanimous - if in having to constitute the Kingdom of my Will I did not endow those who must live in It with the prerogatives and qualities that my very Will possesses. Even more, you must know that just as all things have come out of that single act of God, so must everything return to that single act which has no succession of acts.
But only one who leaves everything to live only of my Will can return to that single act, because as the soul lives in It, everything she does converts into light, and her acts are naturally incorporated and identified with the eternal light of the Sun of my Will, and, as a consequence, they become one single act with the single act of It. on the other hand, in one who operates outside of It one can see, not light, but each of the materials that her work contains, which cannot be incorporated with the light of the single act of God, and therefore it will show immediately that it is not Our thing - that it does not belong to Us. So, anything which is not done by virtue of the Divine Fiat will not be recognized by God.
Suppose you wanted to unite light and darkness, copper and gold, rocks and earth: would one not distinguish with clarity the light from the darkness, the copper from the gold, the rocks from the earth? And this, because these are materials, one different from the other. But if you united, all together, light with light, darkness with darkness, gold with gold, you would not be able to distinguish nor separate the first light from the second, the first darkness from the second, the first mass of gold from the second. So it is with my Will: what It Itself does in the creature is light, and it is no wonder that it becomes incorporated in the single act of Its Eternal Light.
Therefore, in these times so stormy and with a vertiginous race in evil, I could not give greater grace than making known that I want to give the great gift of the Kingdom of the Supreme Fiat. And as a confirmation of this, I am preparing It within you with so many knowledges and gifts, so that nothing may be lacking to the triumph of my Will. Therefore, be attentive on the deposit of this Kingdom which I am making in you.”
After this, I felt concerned because holy obedience had imposed on me not to neglect even one word of that which my sweet Jesus might say to me, while I easily leave them out because I am convinced that it is not necessary to write and to entrust to the paper certain intimate things, certain outpourings that Jesus makes to my poor soul, but that they should remain in the depths of the heart. So I was praying that He would give me the grace not to fail the obedience. And Jesus, moving in my interior, told me: “My daughter, if the one who guides you and directs you gives you this obedience, it means that he has understood that it is I who speaks to you, as well as the value that even a single word of mine contains. My word is light, and is full of life, and one who possesses life can give it; more so, since my word contains the creative power, and therefore a single word of mine can create innumerable lives of grace, lives of love, lives of light, lives of my Will within souls. You yourself will not be able to comprehend the long way that a single word of mine can cover.
Those who have ears will listen; those who have heart will be wounded. So, the one who guides you is right in giving you this obedience. Ah! you do not know how I assist him and remain around him while he reads my writings and yours about my Will, so as to make him comprehend all the strength of the truths and of the great good contained in them. And he turns around my Will, and by virtue of the light that he feels, he is sending you this obedience. Therefore, be attentive, and I will help you and facilitate that which seems difficult to you.
You must know that my Heart is swollen, It agonizes and sighs because I want to make known the Kingdom of the Supreme Fiat, the great goods which are in It, and the great good which those who will possess It will receive. It is precisely in my Heart that I keep It, and I feel my Heart explode for I want to let It out. Don’t you want, then, to give Me this relief, so that, by letting It out, my Heart may deflate, and so It will not have to agonize and sigh with sorrowful sighs any more? And you will do this by making known what I manifest to you about my Will, because when you do this, you give Me the field in order to open the ways and prepare the place in which I must lay the Kingdom of my Will. And if you do not manifest what I say to you, you close these ways and my Heart swells even more. Therefore, let Me do, and you - follow Me and do not be concerned.”
