(한글판 번역이 '모든 피조물'로 잘못 번역되어 처음 기도부터 잘못된 표현으로 기도를 드렸으므로 제가 계속 답답함에 빠졌던 것입니다. '모든 만물'로 바로 잡아 기도드렸으면 저의 기도를 듣는 하느님께서도 답답하지 않으셨을 것입니다.)

하느님 뜻을 행하지 않는 사람은 스스로 빛을 차단하고 어둠을 만든다.
참된 선은 하느님 안에 그 기원이 있다. 만물 안에 현존하며 그들과 함께 사는 사람.
1 내 정신이 영원하신 의지 안에 잠겨 있었을 때 사랑하올 예수님께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다.
“딸아, 사람이 내 뜻을 실행하지 않으면서 범하는 죄는 너무나 큰 죄다.
내 뜻은 태양의 빛보다 강렬하고, 만인과 만물 속으로 침투한다.
그러기에 아무도 내 뜻에서 - 내 뜻의 끝없는 빛에서 달아날 수 없다!
2 그런데 사람은 자신의 뜻을 행함으로 말미암아 그 빛을 차단하고 그 안에 어둠을 만들어 낸다. 하지만 내 뜻은 떠올라 스스로의 길을 따라 달린다. 그를 제 뜻의 어둠 속에 내버려 둔 채 달린다.
3 어떤 사람이 만일 햇빛을 차단하고 그 자신의 긴긴 밤을 만든다면, 사람들이 그를 일러 고약한 짓을 하는 미치광이라고들 하지 않겠느냐? 가엾게도 그는 더 이상 햇빛의 열기를 받지 못하니 얼어 죽을 것이고, 빛이라는 선이 없어 더 이상 활동을 못하니 따분해 죽을 것이다. 또 그는 굶어 죽을 것이다. 그의 조그마한 땅뙈기에 농사를 지어 먹고 사는 데에 필요한 빛과 열은 없고 그의 뜻이라는 어둠만이 그것을 온통 뒤덮고 있기 때문이다. 그러니 사람들이 그를 가리켜, ‘저토록 불행한 사람은 차라리 태어나지 않았더라면 그에게 더 좋았을 것이다.’라고 말할 것이다.
4 그 모든 일이 자기의 뜻을 행하는 영혼에게 일어난다. 따라서 무엇보다도 통탄할 최대의 악은 내 뜻을 행하지 않는 것이다. 내 뜻을 배척한 영혼은 천상의 모든 선을 지닌 내 뜻을 배척했기 때문에 얼어 죽는다. 또 기쁨과 힘과 거룩한 활동의 생명을 일으키는 내 뜻이 없기 때문에 권태와 피로와 나약으로 죽는다. 또 그의 조그마한 땅뙈기로 하여금 먹고 살 양식을 내게 할 빛이 없기 때문에 굶어 죽는다.
5 사람들은 내 뜻을 행하지 않는 것은 중대한 악이 아니라고 생각한다. 그렇기는커녕 그것은 오히려 모든 악을 한꺼번에 내포하는 악이다.”
6 나중에 그분이 이 말씀을 덧붙이셨다.
“딸아, 모든 선은 저마다 그 기원을 하느님 안에 두어야 (정말) 선이 된다.
그러므로 사랑, 선행, 고통의 감수, 하나의 목표 달성을 위하여 물불을 가리지 않고 뛰어드는 이들의 용맹, 종교적이거나 세속적인 학문 연구- 이 모든 것이 하느님 안에 그 기원을 두지 않으면 인간을 교만하게 만들고 그에게서 은총을 비우는 것이다.
7 그러니 하느님에게 기원을 두지 않고 인간에게서 온 모든 선은 드센 바람에 휩쓸린 건조물과 같다. 도시와 촌락과 호화로운 집들을 그 힘으로 박살내어 폐물 더미로 만드는 드센 바람 말이다. 바람이 극히 아름답고 정교한 예술품들을 - 사람들의 찬탄을 받는 그 작품들을 얼마나 자주 조롱이나 하는 듯 맹렬히 파괴하며 때려눕히는지!
8 또 자만심과 허영심이라는 드센 바람이, 피조물의 마음에 들려고 알랑거리는 아첨의 거센 바람이, 얼마나 자주 극히 아름다운 작품들을 때려눕히는지 모른다! 나는 (인간에게서 온) 그런 선에는 역겨움을 느낀다.
그러니 영혼 안의 저 드센 바람의 맹렬함을 차단하는 데에는 내 뜻의 빛의 능력과 이 빛에 의한 가려짐보다 더 효과적이고 더 적합하고 더 잘 듣는 약이 없다.
9 이 능력과 거룩한 빛에 의한 가려짐이 있는 곳에서는 그 드센 바람이 불지 못하기에, 사람은 하느님 뜻의 생명력 넘치는 영향을 받으며 산다. 그리하여 크든 작든 그의 모든 행위들에 ‘피앗’이 날인되어 있는 것을 볼 수 있다. 그의 모토(motto)는 이것이다.
‘하느님이 그것을 원하시니 나도 원한다. 그분께서 원하시지 않으면 나도 원하지 않는다.’
10 이에 더하여 내 뜻은 모든 만물 안에 완전한 균형을 유지하기도 한다.
사랑의 균형, 선함의 균형, 자비의 균형, 굳셈의 균형, 능력의 균형 및 심지어 정의 균형도 유지한다. 그러니 징벌이나 분쟁에 대한 소식이 들리면, 그것은 내 균형 잡힌 뜻의 결과이다. 내 뜻은 인간을 사랑하는 정도와 같은 정도로 불균형에 떨어지지도 않기 때문이다. 그렇지 않다면, 곧 내 뜻이 균형을 잃는다면, 내 뜻도 결점과 약점이 있다는 말이 될 것이다. 실제로 내 뜻의 모든 질서와 거룩함은 여기에, 즉, 내 뜻의 완전한 균형에 있다. 결코 변하지 않는 언제나 한결같은 균형이다.

11 그런데, 딸아, 내 뜻의 맏이야, 이제 들어 보아라. 내 ‘지고한 피앗’의 한 미점이 이것이니, 내 뜻은 내 뜻 안에서 살며 내 뜻이 군림하게 하는 사람, 그리하여 내 뜻의 나라를 세우게 하는 사람 안으로 내 뜻의 완전한 균형이 옮겨지게 된다. 양쪽에서 동시에 공존하면서 그렇게 하기에 그 영혼은 사랑과 선함과 자비와 굳셈과 능력과 정의에 균형이 잡힘을 느낀다.
12 그리고 내 의지는 창조된 만물 하나하나 안에서 내 의지 특유의 균형을 이루는데, 그들이 광범위하게 분포하므로 이 균형을 잡은 영혼을 드높이고 널리 확장한다. 그로 하여금 자기의 모든 행위들 안에서 양자의 균형을 보면서 그들을 결합시켜 갈라질 수 없게 하려는 것이다.
13 그러므로 그 사람은 태양 안에 있으면서 내 뜻이 태양 안에서 하는 균형 잡힌 행위를 한다. 그는 바다에도 있고 하늘에도 있다. 또 활짝 핀 조그마한 꽃 안에도 있으면서 그것과 함께 그 향기를 발산한다. 또 그는 맹위를 떨치는 바람과 물과 폭풍우 안에도 있으면서 정의의 균형을 잡는다. 말하자면 내 뜻이 그 사람 없이는 지내지 못한다. 내 뜻과 그는 서로 떨어질 수 없는 사이이니, 삶을 함께 살아가는 것이다.
14 사람이 만약, ‘나는 하늘 속 여기저기에 산재(散在)하면서 내 형제들의 선익을 위해서 하늘을 보존한다. 내가 태양 안에 있는 것은 농작물의 생장 발육과 결실 및 빛을 주기 위해서, 그리하여 온 인류의 식량을 마련하기 위해서이고,’ 다른 모든 것들에 대해서도 그렇다고 말할 수 있다고 한다면, 너는 그것을 대단찮은 일로 여길 수 있겠느냐?
15 누가, ‘나는 내 하느님께서 당신 자신을 사랑하시는 것처럼 그분을 사랑하고, 모든 사람들을 사랑한다. 또한 내 창조주께서 온 인류 가족에게 베푸시는 선을 나도 베푼다.’ 하고 말할 수 있느냐? 오직 ‘거룩한 피앗’의 저 균형을 받아들이고 그 피앗으로 하여금 자기 안에서 다스리게 하는 사람뿐이다.”

How one who does not do the Divine Will would want to cut through the light and form darkness for himself. How true good must have its origin in God. How the soul who lives in the Supreme Will receives Its balance within herself, and is present in the whole Creation, living life together with It.
While my mind was swimming in the Sun of the Eternal Volition, my beloved Jesus told me: “My daughter, the affront that a creature commits by not doing My Will is great. My Will is more than solar light, It invades everyone and everything, nor can anyone escape from It—from Its endless light! Now, by doing her will, the creature wants to cut through this light, and she forms darkness in it; but My Will rises and follows Its course of light, leaving the creature in the darkness of her will.
“If someone cut through the light of the sun and formed a long night for himself, would he not be called insane and doer of great evil? Poor one, he would die of cold, no longer receiving the heat of the light of the sun; he would die of boredom, no longer being able to operate, because he would lack the good of the light. He would die of hunger, having neither light nor heat in order to make his little field, covered by the darkness of his will, vegetate and fecundate. It would be said of him: ‘It would be better if a being so unhappy had never been born!’
“All this happens to the soul who does her will. Therefore, the most deplorable evil is to not do My Will, because once My Will is removed, she dies of coldness for all the celestial goods; she dies of boredom, of tiredness, of weakness, because My Will is missing, which makes the joy, the strength and the life of the Divine operating arise. She dies of hunger, because Its light is missing, which makes the little field of the soul vegetate and fecundate, in order to form the food on which she must live. Creatures think that not doing My Will is not a great evil, while, instead, it encloses all evils together.”
Then, after this, He added: “My daughter, every good, in order to be a good, must have its origin in God. Therefore, love, the doing good itself, suffering, the heroism of those who rush headlong into achieving an intent, the study of sciences, sacred and profane—in sum, anything, that does not have its origin in God, inflates the creature, it empties her of grace. And all these goods that do not have their origin in God, but start with a human origin, are like works swept away by a mighty wind that, with its power, reduces cities, villas, sumptuous houses, to dust and makes of them a heap.
“How many times a mighty wind destroys and knocks down the most beautiful works of art and of ingenuity, making fun, with its fury, of those works so praised and admired! How many times the mighty wind of self-esteem, of self-glory, the furious wind of pleasing creatures, knock down the most beautiful works, and I feel the nausea of that very good!
“Therefore, there is no remedy that is more effective, more appropriate, more healing, and that blocks the fury of these winds within the soul, than the power of the light of My Will, and the eclipse formed by it. Wherever this power, this eclipse formed by Divine Light, is present, these winds are prevented from blowing, and the creature lives under the vital influence of a Divine Will, in such a way that the seal of the Fiat can be seen in all of her acts, both small and great. So, her motto is: ‘God wants it, I want it. If He does not want it, neither do I want it.’
“In addition to this, My Will maintains perfect balance in the whole Creation. It maintains the balance of love, of goodness, of mercy, of fortitude, of power and even of justice. Therefore, when you hear of chastisements and of troubles, it is nothing other than the effect of My balanced Will that, as much as It loves the creature, is not subject to becoming unbalanced; otherwise It would be defective and weak, if It lost Its balance. Indeed, all the order and the sanctity of It is here: in Its perfect balance—always the same, without ever changing.
“Now, My daughter, firstborn of My Will, listen to something beautiful about My Supreme Fiat. With the soul who lives in It and allows It to reign in order to let It form Its Kingdom, My Will, bilocating Itself, transfers Its perfect balance into her. So, the soul feels balanced in love, in goodness, in mercy, in fortitude, power and justice. And since Creation is extremely vast, in which My Volition exercises Its distinct act of balance in each thing, as the soul possesses this balance, My Will elevates her and expands her so much, as to make her find in all of her acts the balance of both one and the other, unifying them, and rendering them inseparable.
“So, the creature finds herself in the sun, to do the balanced acts that My Will does in it; she finds herself in the sea, in the heavens, in the little flower that blooms, to give off its fragrance together with it; in the little bird that sings, to cheer the whole Creation with the balance of joy. She finds herself in the fury of the wind, of the water, of the storms, for the balance of justice. In sum, My Will cannot be without this creature; they are inseparable, and they live life together.
And do you think it is trivial that the soul can say: ‘I am stretched within the heavens, to preserve them for the good of my brothers. I am present in the sun, to germinate, to fecundate, to give light, and to prepare the food for all mankind,’ and so with all the rest?
Who can ever say: ‘I love my God as He loves Himself, and I love everyone, and I do all the good that my Creator does to the whole human family’? only one who receives this balance of the Divine Fiat and allows It to reign within herself.”
